    Unanswered: Checking you environment

    Hi ,

    I have openned multiple session of sql*plus for different environments i.e production , devlopment , uat etc.

    is there way i can check which session belongs to which environment ?

    Add the following to the glogin.sql file:

    set sqlprompt "_USER'@'_CONNECT_IDENTIFIER'>'"
    90% of users' problems can be resolved by punching them - the other 10% by switching off their PCs.

    To find out for already opened sessions, query v$session & v$database

    I use the glogin.sql
    this way you have this info wherever and whenever you log in.
