Unanswered: Close Form if no records displayed

What I want to do is if the form (a continuous form showing data from a query) has no records is close that form and open a different form.

I tried doing this with a count but this does no work unless there is some data.

    No it not working.

How can I reference a control for example txtCount.text after the form has opened and the count of records has been made.

Ok I know having a conversation with myself is a little worrying, but I think I have resolved this.

instead of using txtCount.Text I use txtCount
