    Unanswered: Relation between two tables

    Hello

I am making a database for a message system that contains username, password and message. So I have made a table with fields username(key) and password amd then I have another table with autonumber(key), message and I also copied the username from table 1 and pasted it into table two and made a relation between those. But I have a feeling that's not right and that I should make the relation another way. Anyone can tell me the best way to make a relation between the tables?

    Thanks

either create the code the orthodox (hard(er) way using VBA to run a SQL DDL query) OR use the relationship manager.
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton

Do you mean I should connect UserName to UserID?

No, the connection between the User table and table Message through attribute UserID.
