Question Unanswered: Access Macro - Transfertext - file doesn't exist

    Hi All,

I have a macro which uses the transfertext action (4 times) to import four text files into a particular table. Every 3rd month, we need to import five files (4-4-5 weeks in a month etc). We trust the user to remember to amend the macro to include this 5th file, more often than not they forget.

If I leave 5 transfertext actions in the macro, it fails on the 5th when we only have 4 files (obviously!). Is there anything I can add to the macro as an action or a condition so i can leave this 5th transfertext action in the macro but it won't fail (there are more actions after the transfertext actions).

The database doesn't belong to us & therefore i cannot change it to VBA code or anything, i am limited to amending this one particular macro only.

    Thanks for your help.

Are you using 2007? According to this link Microsoft has added Error handling to macros. But I don't see a way in 2003 or earlier.
