Unanswered: Any command/tool to un-do the updates on a table ??

    db2v9.5.4 on win2k3

    Friends,

Do we have any command or tool otherwise available to rollback the updates done by mistake ?

I am talking about development environment. A developer calls me to un-do the bad updates that he had commited to a table.

I am sure there should be some tool to bring the table to the state before the transaction. Same as oracle's flashback recovery.

    Please help !!

Why are you sure about that? DB2 does not have such features. Your only option is to restore the database and rollforward it to the point in time just before the unwanted transaction.

Not sure why. DB2 being about 10th major version ; no body noticed it.

Good to know; I will try to write my own.

    Thanks for your response.
