Unanswered: Enterprise manager in Oracle 11g

    Hi,

I am new to Oracle. I installed Oracle 11g on my laptop but didn't find Oracle Enterprise manager under "configuration and migrataion toos" or under "Integrated management tool".

Can any of you please tell me how to get Enterprise manager now?
Please revert me as soon as possible.

    Thank you.

OEM is NOT required to manage or run Oracle DB.

    emctl status dbconsole
You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
The average person thinks he's above average!
For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.

Thanks for your response. I know OEM is not required to run the Oracle instance. I am practicing Oracle DBA, and I read in the oracle douments, OEM should also come as part of Oracle installation but I didn't find the same after installation.

Please let me know how can I get the same now.

    Thank you.
