By now everyone must have heard about transfer table utility which offers new way to extract data from ASE table. It is introduced in ASE 15.5 and it is more faster & functional than BCP.
It is also called as Incremental Data Transfer utility as it extracts newly inserted rows from table and writes into file. Now, ‘newly inserted’ means: rows that were inserted since the last time transfer table was run against this same table.
But i have one question regarding this - How it affects the transaction log during execution? Is it a minimally logged transaction?
If anyone have any idea, please let me know!!
