Unanswered: Zipping up files in windows filesystem from Oracle 11g r2

I currently have an external C dll that I call from an Oracle Library which calls a specific batch file which zips up some files on the file system that oracle has created. Is there a non extproc / non java way to zip up files in the filesystem from Oracle using pl/sql only?

The order of the current routine:
    1. Oracle creates several of text files (via utl_file) on the windows file system
    2. Oracle writes a batch file (via utl_file) to call command line winzip to zip up all those files just created and also some images on the windows file system
    3. Oracle then calls the library which calls the dll which runs the batch file on the system

    thanks
    Robert

The utl_compress package seems to be what you are looking for:
