Unanswered: ORA-0314: Not connected to Oracle error

    Hello everybody,
I'm experiencing a connection probleme with oracle. I have a software that connects perfectelly to an oracle 10g database from an active diractory domaine, but when trying to connect from a different domaine an error pops up saying "Ora-0314: Not connected to Oracle".

When I do a Tnsping, it works just fine!

Can someone give me a hand on this issue.
    Tnak you all in advance

TNSPING only talks to listener & NOT the DB; so tnsping proves nothing.

too bad COPY & PASTE are broken for you because ORA-00314 is NOT what you report it to be.

I suspect failed connection requires Active Directory for authentication & fails when AD not present
You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
The average person thinks he's above average!
For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.

Thank you for the suggestion and for the information,

I'll try to see with the system administrators in my company.
