Unanswered: Access crashes when ODBC connection is lost - can i catch this?
I've got an Access 2007 database with loads of linked odbc tables and passthrough queries. ,
my issue is, if the database is open on a form using an odbc table, and the itnernet is lost (wireless or vpn someitmes just drops), the whole database crashes without the user even moving to the next record or anything.
is there a way to catch this error and prevent a crash? or do i need to convert everything to passtrhough queries (including updates and inserts)?
