    Unanswered: db2 length of table

    Hi,
    i am new to DBA, can i know how to find the length of the table in a database other than using db2cc. Thank u in advance.

    What do you meant by "Length"? Also please state DB2 version and OS.

    db2 size of table

    Hi,
    Thanks for fast reply.
    What my attention is, to know the size occupied by the table in the database.
    db2 version is 9.1 in Linux.

    1) make sure that runstats is current
    2) Select tabname,fpages from syscat.tables

    Number 2 will give you the number of pages for each table (not including the indexes). You can expand that to join the tablespace to multiply by the pagesize to get bytes.
