    Unanswered: DICOM image

    Hi.
    Is it possible to display dicom images on a microsoft access form?
    what do i need to do so?

    You would need a third party DICOM control. It can't be done natively in Access.

    Sinndho: DICOM is a transport protocol "standard" for medical images and such (think MRI/XRAY/etc).
    oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.

    DICOM, as Teddy said, is the format used when you get an XRAY, MRI, CAT Scan, etc, done and they give you a CD to take back to your doctor. A major feature is that the patient ID is actually incorporated into the file along with the images, eliminating the possibility of a mixup between patients.

    As above, DICOM is the format that is being used in medical imaging.
