    Unanswered: Time Stamping on Access

    Hi,

    Im pretty new to Access and Databases in general so apologies if this is a dumb question.

    I work in a manual department and responsible for trying to automate as much as possible, im comfortable with Excel but Access is very new to me.

    I am considering converting a monthly spreadsheet that is used to track performance into an Access database - reason being is that the Excel file is shared and pretty notorious for errors at month end as like 57 users can update it throughout the month (everyday) as a shared document.

    My main query/reason for the thread is to see if there is any way to include capturing the handling time per worked case within this DB. Ideally I like to capture 3 different times per case,

    Started Case,
    Working Case,
    Wrapping up Case.

    Is this possible? And would it be alot of work?

    There's approx 50 types of different cases.
    And around 50 staff that would be using the DB on a daily basis.
