    Unanswered: Unable to Start db2ca

Hi, I installed DB2 Express-C 9.7 recently in my Windows XP. Everything is running fine except that I could not launch DB2 Configuration Assistant.

First, I try to launch the GUI from Windows --> Start menu. A DB2 screen splash out indicating that the system is loading the application. After the loading finished, it just disappear.

Then, I open db2cc (Control Center). GUI successfully loaded. I try open db2ca from Control Center, but nothing happen.

Did anyone know how to fix this problem? I have been struggling for few days on the net couldn't find anything.

    Thanks

Yes, I have tried that also. But still the same. Noting is being log in Event Viewer and db2diag.log. Is there any other log file that I could refer to?

    Thanks.

no - no other log files
you could start db2ca with trace option and see if any additional info is provided

Since the log is too long, so I just cut the exception portion. If you required the full message, please do let me know.

Thanks for sharing your finding. However, I managed to resolve the issue by re-install DB2
