Unanswered: Export Table Data to Word, Specify Column Width

    Good Afternoon All,

I am exporting Access data to a Word document in a table format. Is there any way to specify the column width of any / all of the columns?

    Thanks!

If you're using Automation (i.e. creating an instance of Word in your database) to communicate with Word you can control it in every aspect. You're not limited to sending data.

However this implies that you must create a reference to Word (Tools --> References --> Microsoft Word 11.0 Object Library for Office 2003) and that you know the Object model of Word in order to communicate with it.

Thanks. I'm connected to the 12.0 Object Library. I think I'm missing the "Object model of Word." Is there a site(s) that has a list of the object models and how to use them?

    Thanks again!

Word Help provides one. There are several sites too such as: Automating Microsoft Word or Understanding the Word Object Model from a .NET Developer's Perspective

Google for "ms word object model"
    Have a nice day!
