    Unanswered: urgent please : rst.nomatch not functioning with 2007

    I've built my code as follows :
    dim db as database
    dim rst recordset
    set db=currentdb
    set rst=db.openrecordset("tablename")
    rst.index="field""=",control name

    END IF

    ---> it was working fine on my computer using access 2007 but when I shifted the same application to another computer it's giving an error on (NOMATCH) despite I've put the proper references

    Not sure it would help but you could try to fully qualify the objects:
    Dim db As DAO.Database
    Dim rst As DAO.Recordset
    Have a nice day!

    Does this mean that you've checked and do, indeed, have the Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object Library installed?

    When apps run fine on one machine and not on another or run fine in one version and not when run under a newer version, the first thing you have to think about are missing references.

    If you haven't looked at this, here are Doug Steele's detailed instructions on how to troubleshoot the problem:

    Hope this helps!

    The problem with making anything that fools are so darn ingenious!
