    Unanswered: Planning Capacity planning

Hi We are doing capacity planning for our databases, we have estimated row count,

i know how to caluclate table space , but i have no idea how to do index space?

is there any script or methodology to calculate both of these depending on estimated row count???

Here is my capacity planning methodology:

Step 1: Make a ball-park estimate of how big you think the database will be.
    Step 2: Multiply by 10.

Disk space is cheap. Cheaper, in fact, than the man-hours that go into capacity planning.
If it's not practically useful, then it's practically useless.
