I have a running HADR on DB2 Version 9.5 Fixpack 7.
Now I got to know that HADR could get some problems in case of the clients send some to loads to the Primary System.
We are using TSM for archiving our logs and Backups from Primary.
The IBM Information Center reports about the VENDOROPT Option but I am not really sure how to use it. Is there anybody here who can support me with this?
Thanks in advance.
LOAD operations are not logged, therefore they cannot be propagated to the standby database, unless you specify COPY YES as an option. In that case you must ensure that the COPY YES location is accessible from both the primary and standby databases.
