    Unanswered: Timeout Expired

    Hello everyone,

My ms access application has a continues form that uses a sql query for its data source.
In this form, a check box is bound to a table field (the value is 0 or -1).
Now, I have a weird problem. Sometimes ticking the check boxes in the form, updates the fields in the table and works perfectly fine, but sometimes when i try to tick the check boxes, it just hangs and after a while it shows me a message box with "Timeout Expired".It does not update the table filed.

Can anyone help me with that? I need to fix it ASAP.

    Thanks in advance!

What precisely is the data source: a local table (or set of tables), a linked table (how is it linked and to what: other mdb, SQL Server...)?

When you write that the check box is bound to a table field, I presume that you mean it is linked to a column in the query used as the RecordSource of the form, right?
    Have a nice day!
