    Unanswered: Memo Field Size

    Hi,
    I have a memo field which my user types info into (in a form). They can then view a report which shows the memo field in a text box on the report.

    The report will only show 256 characters even though the memo field maybe 1000 characters long. When you then close the report and go back to the form, the text in the memo field is reduced to 256 characters and anything above this is deleted. How can i avoid this happening?

    The 'Wonder from Down Under,' Allen Browne, has a page on the woes of using memo fields in queries, which you're apparently doing, along with some work arounds:
