    Unanswered: master.dbo.sysprocesses

When running a select * from master.dbo.sysprocesses the resultset shows that our database mirrors are suspended however, when I view through Ent Studio Mang. the mirrors show they are synchronized. Doe the sysprocesses tables keep historical data as well--is that the reason for the incorrect information?

Sysprocesses is deprecated. You should start using sys.dm_exec_connections and sys.dm_exec_sessions. In the status column of sysprocesses indicates the status of the process or thread itself. The processes show as suspended because they have nothing to do at that particular moment. The mirrors are synchronized, if they show as synchronized in sys.database_mirroring.
