    Unanswered: recovery catalog issue

    my recovery catalog database is catdb into another machine..
    target database is testdb..
    if i am dropped one tablespace with name dat from target database still i can see the entry of tablespace if i fire below query...
    select name from rc_tablespaces;

    i tried resync catalog

    but no use still i can see entry of that dropped tablespace in recovery catalog...

    any one can give me solution for the same....

    Recovery catalog contain information about the BACKUPS made of Files/Tablespaces/etc...
    Dropping a tablespace from the target database does NOT remove any entries from the catalog.

    its in oracle documentation....

    Use RESYNC CATALOG to perform manual full resynchronizations when:
    You have made changes to the physical structure of the target database such as adding or dropping a tablespace...

    RESYNC
