Unhappy Unanswered: Problem sharing database from windows xp to windows 7

    My first post.
I am having trouble sharing MS Access data base from windows xp to windows 7 via router.I can see the shared folder on the XP machine from windows 7 but when the DB is updated it does not update the DB on windows 7.It was working fine until the xp machines hard drive packed up ,it was using ms access 2000,and windows 7 was using MS access 2003.Now both are using Access 2003.Could someone give me a detailed set of settings to follow. The database is on the xp machine and shared with windows 7 via Both using MSHOME as network workgroup.
    Could someone help me please.

Problem sharing database from windows xp to windows 7

    1. If the Windows7 machine is installed with MS-Office2003 then open Access2003.
    2. Select Workgroup Administrator from Tools Menu.
    3. Select Join Option and browse to the MSHOME.MDW file, select and open it.

You must get a message like 'You have successfully joined the Workgroup Administration file'.
