    Unanswered: Aqua data studio - SQL statement

    Hi everybody,

    I have recently started to use "aqua data studio" but when I'm trying to run a query like below and unload the table to a file then it gives me an error which I really don't know how to fix it.

    Code:
    set isolation to dirty read;
    unload to C:\scripts\xxxx.txt
    select count(hawb_num), hawb_num from image_ref
    group by hawb_num
    I have also tried "" and '' as well.

    Please let me know if you have any idea!

    Aqua data studio - SQL statement

    The error message indicates the server does not understand the SQL.

    What is the column type for hawb_num, also what version of Informix are you using. I would probably start with the following sql:

    select count(hawb_num) from image_ref

    then add the other information to find where the problem is.

    Aqua data studio - SQL statement

    I tested with the stores database using the customer table. Aqua data studio give me an error on the unload statement, however the command works with dbaccess on the server side.

    Also the unload path needs "" around it.

    unload to "C:\scripts\xxxx.txt"
