Question Unanswered: Creation of Package and Plan in DB2 v10

    Hi,

We have installed a DB2 V10.1 in our Z/OS machine. Here for the application developers we are need of creating a Package and Plan, so that the application users can use that plan for bind. I have seen the package looks like below :

    DBRM SYSADM TCHPK339 ȿ C 2

DBRM B wDECLARE PRODUCT TABLE ( PRODUCT_ID SMALLINT NOT
    RODUCT_NAME CHAR ( 30 ) , PRODUCT_TYPE CHAR ( 3 ) , MANUFACTURED_DATE DA
    DUCT_COST DECIMAL ( 7 , 2 ) )
DBRM . DECLARE PRODC CURSOR FOR SELECT * FROM PRODUCT
    DBRM OPEN PRODC
    DBRM FETCH PRODC INTO : H , : H , : H , : H , : H
    4 WS-PRODUCT.WS-PRODUCT-ID D WS-PRODUCT.
    CT-NAME D WS-PRODUCT.WS-PRODUCT-TYPE D
    PRODUCT.WS-MANUFACTURED-DATE U WS-PRODUCT.WS-PRODUCT-

Would someone Please help me in creating a package and plan in a new DB2 subsystem. Please provide me a sequence to create it. I am a Z series guy but I hardly have some knowledge on this creation of plan and packages. I could learn later, but for now if you can show me an example of creation then i would be really grateful.

    Regards,
    Jags

You need to use the bind command, specifying the DBRM source code. If you need some help, you should probably contact your DBA. If you don't have a DBA, hire one.
