    Unanswered: can open cursors current be -ve?

    How does open cursors current can be -ve?

    see below..

    SQL> SELECT B.NAME, S.SID, A.VALUE, S.USERNAME FROM V$SESSTAT A,
    SQL> V$STATNAME B, V$SESSION S WHERE A.STATISTIC# = B.STATISTIC# AND
    SQL> S.SID=A.SID AND B.NAME = 'opened cursors current' AND S.USERNAME IS
    SQL> NOT null;



    NAME SID VALUE USERNAME
    ------------------------------------------------------ ---------- ---------- ---------- ....
    opened cursors current 24 -48 STRMADMIN
    ...

    SR 3-3904023861: 'opened cursors current' showing negative value

    i opened above SR with oracle

    and got this reply,
