    Unanswered: More inteligent select statement

    Hi
Is there a way of creating a more intelligent select statement using LIKE ?
My site allows visitors to search on product name using the code, but the results arn't really what i expected.
The order in which the search words are typed into the search box, phrases with words missing, etc all affect the results.
Is there a better way to write the select statement to 'catch' all keywords, phrases regardless of the order they are typed in?

    Thanks
    A

    SELECT *
    FROM dbo.Products
    WHERE Product LIKE %MMColParam%

Have you investigate full text search functionality in SQL Server?
If it's not practically useful, then it's practically useless.
