Question Unanswered: Populate a combobox with JUST table column headers

    Hi guys,

Just a quick (what I assume to be super simple) question for you all...

I have a table with the following headings:

    - Exclude
    - xxx
    - CNTxxx
    - CRUxxx
    - ORGxxx
    - SAFxxx
    - GTxxx
    - GTCNTxxx
    - GTCRUxxx
    - ORGxxx
    - SAFxxx

    - Colours

All I want, is a combobox to list these headings, and nothing else. Is there an SQL statement that I'm missing that returns just the headings, with the exception of colours? Or have I got to iterate over the entire table with a recordset?

Preferably, I'd like to reference the table, but I suppose just using a value will do as I can always use the name in a further SQL statement.

    Thanks a bunch!

the column names are available in the system metadata. I'd expect other information also to be available. Like most SQL engines Access / JET stores data about itself within itself and manipulated using SQL. In Access speak this meta data is stored in system objects. I can't for the life of me find how to view the system objects in 2010, in 2003 and earlier it was pretty easy
ms access view system objects - Google Search
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton
