I'm somewhat intermediate when it comes to Access, I'm more familiar with querying than other features of it.

All I want is a form that can take information from text boxes and combo boxes but I'm hearing all this hoopla about bounded combo boxes on continuous forms.

The problem is that I need one combo box to influence what the second combo box does. A resolution that a member here gave was to put the combo boxes on the main form, and then have a subform for everything else. But he said have the main form just display the combo box values and to have a button that would open a window where I could directly make changes to the combo box.

I'm not too sure how to go about the window method. The version of Access I'm using is 2003. You might have to explain certain terminologies as well because I'm not that sharp in Access. Thanks!
