Unanswered: final project sms interface with ms access

    Hi,
For my final year project students are to send their student id to a specified mobile phone number and receive their results.

The mobile phone is connected to a laptop(ms access), which will query the incoming student number and obtain the corresponding results from the created database and send it back to the original sender.

I'm very enw to database design so I'm trying to create a very small datatbase with only four students, the subjects they do and their marks obtained. Below is a pic of what I have done so far. It contains alot of repeated information. Is this ok?

Can anyone help me streamline this a bit more?

so you need to query the db and pull the results for that student as identified by their mobile phone number
then call the mobile phone's API and sen d a text message back to that number

OK so you need to revisit your design to check its normalised
there's lots of reference on that on t'web
    Page Not Found
and tony marsden's page(s) seem to be fairly reliable

in an ideeal worl you should eliminate repeating groups
you may need to do a google on intersection / junction tables
