    DB2 DPF restore/recovery

    I have installed DB2 9.7 with DPF 3 partitions.
I took the backup of all the three nodes.
I want to understand the restore scenarios for the DPF environment, following are my doubts:
    1. For restore is the necessary to restore the catalog node first?
    2. Is it possible to resotre a single partition (non catalog node) separately
    3. For roll forward do we need to run it from the catalog node?

    Regards

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.

    DB2 DPF Backup/Recovery

    Thanx Guy Przytula

Do you have pointers or any document for the steps to restore/recovery the database in DPF environment with respect to DB2 APIs.
We are writing a module to backup/restore DB2 databases in DPF environement. I am not able to find clear steps for the backup/recovery of DB2 databases in DPF environment.

    Regards
