    Unanswered: Clear option group

    I am having a few problems with an option group when I go to a new record. I am using the following code:

    Code:
    Private Sub Frame35_AfterUpdate()
       Select Case Frame35.Value
          Case 1
             Severity.Value = "Severe Harm (Red)"
          Case 2
             Severity.Value = "Moderate Harm (Amber)"
          Case 3
             Severity.Value = "Minor Harm (Green)"
             End Select
    End Sub
    It works great until I go to a new record. The radio button selected in the previous record is "greyed out" but it doesn't record the value in the control source, unless I click on another of the radio buttons and click back. The risk is that users may see the radio buttoned as "grey" and think it is already selected. I want to clear the option group so no radio button is "greyed" when the user goes to a new record.

    I have looked through the forum but not found anything that can help.

    Try affecting zero to the DefaultValue property of the Option Group control.

    Clear option group

    I have gone in to the property sheet and set the default as 0 but this has had no effect.

    Is the control bound to a column of the table or query ?

    Clear option group

    Oops! I forgot to check what it was bound to as the code fills the table. Have set the control source and it now works.
    Cheers
