Unanswered: Create a form whic can show user details

    Hi,

I have created a data base which is running on a share drive. I have split data base into two parts front end and back end. I have 100 users on that. every user has their own user name and password. and each team has their diffrent form to enter data. now i am facing problems.
1- When ever i am opening my form then any one can chek how many records have been entered in this data base by moving their mouse wheel.

2- I want to create a form which can show me all the details of users as they login in to database.

3- I have to created a report which should filter data base but its showing all the records which we have in data table.

Here is my data base. if someone can help me.

    ▲ No database.

    1. Limit the recordset to just show the record you want to show, then the mouse wheel won't scroll through records.

    2. Not sure what you mean. Do you want to list usernames and times/dates so you can see who has logged in and out and when or do you want to show the user who just logged in who they are and what their recorded details are?

    3. Filtering reports is pretty normal... what's the problem?

Yes i want to see the user list as they login to database. I have created a form term conversion, there are some command button to start and end. As we do start and and there is a text box which is showing prodction, idle,or break. Actually i want to create a form. That form will show me that who is loged in my database and what is there status production or break, is it possible.

There is no report into the database. The object named term conversion is a Form.

Now there is no database at all!

Have you tried the report wizard? That will let you choose your table, sort the data... and if you run it on a query that gets the data you want to filter, does that give you what you need?

The usual method consists in creating a query for selecting and ordering the data you want to see in the report, then create a report based on that query. In simple cases you can use the Report Wizard to help you build the report directly.

However, when I examine the structure of the table Term conversion I don't see any column named Name or Status (there is one named AWD Status, though) and there are several columns having a Date/Time data type which makes impossible to now which to chose for computing what you call inbetween dates, one can only guess.

Others don't know anything (or very little) about the business plan that your database handles and it's hard to provide useful and precise answers if you're not specific in your questions.

there is a piece of code published which can report what users are connected to the db. depedns on the version, but I first came accross it in the Access XXXX developers handbook enterprise edition
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton

Dear you have a copy of my data base. There are few things i am not able to do.

1- My team is not able to use this. If i have opened a form then no one else is able to use. I have putted my data base on a share drive.

2- On load of form that should not show previous records it should go to new record.

3- I want to filter my report with term conversion table by Name,Date, and AWD status. For example- I have enter my data on 1st aug and today is 24 aug i want to see data for 10 to 24 aug. Like this.

4- I want to create a form which can show me who all are loged in to data base.

If you can do this for me that will be very helpful.

    Thanks
