I have different tables with generated columns
for 1 specific table we have a strange effect
I run db2look and for all tables I can see the reset of the id, but not for was.wasuser
if I check syscat.COLIDENTATTRIBUTES the value for was.wasuser is not reflected either although I entered the command manually, to see if any change.
db2 ALTER TABLE was.wasuser ALTER COLUMN "ID" RESTART WITH 589
CREATE TABLE "BETAX "."ACTORS" (
"ID" DECIMAL(15,0) NOT NULL GENERATED ALWAYS AS IDENTITY ( START WITH +8
ALTER TABLE "BETAX "."ACTORS" ALTER COLUMN "ID" RESTART WITH 18;
CREATE TABLE "WAS "."WASUSER" (
"ID" DECIMAL(5,0) NOT NULL GENERATED ALWAYS AS IDENTITY ( START WITH +1
Am I missing something , or doing something wrong
Thanks for the updates..

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.
