    Unanswered: Multiple entries with repeat data autofilled?

    I'm working on a database where the user logs products produced towards a work order at a given line over multiple shifts per day and multiple days per work order.

    Right now, each shift is going in as a separate line in the database. This means that the user has to input the same line and work order number for multiple entries.

    It's a lot of extra typing of number strings, and I'd like to try to minimize it, if possible.

    Is there any way for the user to be able to input the line and work order once and then fill in the multiple shifts, dates, and pieces produced that apply to them?
