Unanswered: Cascading combo boxes for a newbie.

    Hi guys,

I have a form to record a list of businesses in a town. On the form I have a sector combo box with a range of business sectors in it like Agriculture, Business Services, Retail etc.

I need another combo box thats settings will depend on what is chosen in the first. I think this is called cascading combo boxes. I found a good example on the net but couldn't get it to work as it wasn't storing the value in a table when I closed the database or moved to the next record.

I need to run queries every so often so that I can print off all business in retail who sell footwear for example.

    Please help me...

Setting up cascading combo boxes means that the set of values in a combo varies according to the selected value in another combo. It does not have anything to do with saving data into a table, at least not directly. What precisely do you try to do?

And also how are the queries you mentioned related to the combos problem? Is it another question?
    Have a nice day!
