Unanswered: Looking for event that triggers when a new record on a form is started

    Access 2007

Right now I have a form with subform. That subform source is choosen by what is selected by the user in a combobox on the main form. I have coding that is on the form current event to display the correct form for past records. I am looking to have the subform go "blank" on new records when a new record is started. I know what code to use but don't know which event to put it under.

Answered my own question. I didn't realize that when you set the form to open to a new record everytime its opened, the subform will be blank because theres nothing selected in the combobox.

    Try next:
    Use "ON CURRENT EVENT"
    In SUB put the code:

    If NewRecord Then
....here do what you want for a new record
    Else
.....It means it is an old record....
    End if
