    Arrow Unanswered: Help with query

    Hello,

    I really am a newbie in MS Access programming. Firstly, I have a table with "Batch" as a column. Batch refers to year, which may have more than one record with the same Batch. And may also be a new Batch.

    I want to create a combo box or a drop down box of this data. If there is a new record with a new "Batch", the data in the drop down box will automatically updated.

    Which data, the contents of the Batch column ? Try:
    Code:
    SELECT Batch FROM TableName ORDER BY Batch
    Or to only have the values once (in case some values are duplicated):
    Code:
    SELECT DISTINCT Batch FROM TableName ORDER BY Batch
