    Can somebody explain,

What is database failure scenario in DB2??

Can we detect database failure by looking at any process or something else??

all is in diaglog - the forum would not have enough space to mention all failures you can get..
there are many docs in dev.works that document failing scenarios (and for testing) and how db2/hadr/tsa act on these
db2pd -d xx -hadr returns some status --- lssam for tsa or db2pd -ha

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.
