    Unanswered: Where To Start

I'm looking to install Oracle 11g on a Linux server for the 1st time. The Linux O.S. install is being performed by myself for the intension of just install Oracle 11g database on to it. I've downloaded the files from Oracle and I've read some of their manuals and requirements but it really doesn't give me a lot of details on prepping my Linux system pre-install and post-install. Is there a guide or tutorial you guys recommend that will explain to me what is required and needed to successfully stand up a Oracle 11g database on Linux? Thanks for any info and or guides / reference.

You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
The average person thinks he's above average!
For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.
Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.
