    Unanswered: Database Connection Problem

    Hi all.
    I've using MS SQL Server 2008 locally for developing and testing my classic ASP aplications.
    I have two websites running (local) from one database and all has been working perfectly.
    Both sites use the exact same copy of the connection string.

    Code:
    MM_conname_STRING = "DRIVER={SQL Server}; Server=PC006\PC0062; Database=dbname"
    The only thing i've done is take a backup from the live server and restored it locally.
    Now only one site will connect to the database :-(
    I'm getting this error

    Code:
    Cannot open database "db_name" requested by the login. The login failed.
    very odd.
    The other site still connects and works fine! Any ideas?

    Thanks
    Andy

    you need to supply username/pwd in the connection string if you are using SQL logins.
    For windows authentication, use Trusted_Connection=yes in your connection string.
