I am fairly new with Access and am fairly new to creating databases.
I have knowledge of building the databases and creating relevant queries etc.
However I have virtually no knowledge of forms and how to use them and build them etc.
What I need help with is:
I have been asked to build a database to store data based on a form that a user would fill out.
I have built several tables and need them to be populated by this form. Most of the users would have access, however i would like to know if there is a way I can populate the database even if the user noes not have access.
I have read that it can possibly be done via InfoPath. Is this the case? If so is this fairly easy to do and would it mean redesigning the database from scratch?
I'm sorry if this is a stupid question (still learning I'm afraid).
If you need any further information to help me then please let me know.
There are lots of ways to load data into MS Access. You can load data in from flat-files, spreadsheets, or other databases. You can also add records individually to the tables through the GUI, or write SQL Code or VB code to add data.
If it's not practically useful, then it's practically useless.
