    Unanswered: After Migration from DB2 9.5 to 9.7 STMM Error - Why

    Hello folks,

    After a successfull Migration from DB2 9.5 to 9.7 i get the following error in my db2diag. System AIX 6. This error comes up every 3 minutes which is really annoying.

    Not sure why this error is logged, but you can try setting the following registry variable and then restarting the instance:

    DB2STMM=GLOBAL_BENEFIT_SEGMENT_COMPATIBLE:YES

    I tried that ... and error still comes up :-(

    I think there are some changes/fixes going into v9.7 FP5 that changes permissions on the segment. Don't know the details.

    I'd suggest opening a pmr.

    I´ve already opened a PMR and IBM is looking for the problem.

    IBM recommended to install Fixpack and I have done so. Problem is fixed now.

    I have two groups of db2 instances, a DB2 9.5 FP4 and a DB2 9.7 FP5 residing on a same host. The DB2 9.7 group was migrated from 9.5. All instances were working fine before 9.7 migration. After 9.7 migration, the 9.7 instances are fine, but 9.5 instance are getting :
