    Red face Unanswered: Backup and restore process in different servers

    thanks to helping me
    ur posts are very hepling

    pls tell me how to restore a backup in a different server means

    For example I have taken a backup (with include logs option) in some server 112.1.1.5 and i have to restore it on 112.1.1.10 server both are having same confg. AIX 6.1 and db2 V9.7

    have a look at infocenter
    IBM DB2 9.7 for Linux, UNIX and Windows Information Center
    check for backup/restore and see limitations-prereq...

    all information about backup-restore is in the ibm infocenter as indicated by the link
    have a look at these pages - read some info about backup-restore
    if any problems with this operation publish the specific error you get..
