    Unanswered: Create record command button

    I have the following fields and tables:
    1. ParticipantID(field, number) in Person(table)
    2. Address(field,text) in Details(table)

    I want to create a form and a button where user can just fill in the participant ID and address and click the command button to update the data in the table. Can someone please show me how to do this step by step? Thank you.

    I'm not quite sure to understand what you want to achieve.

    Should the form only have controls (which would be empty when the form opens) only for these two fields (ParticipantID, Address)? And how are the records from both tables related (i.e. which row in one table corresponds to one or more rows in the second table and how)?
