Unanswered: SQL Agent Issue on Clustered Install

    This one's driving me batty.

I have installed an instance on our SQL Cluster. The install appeared to run OK, but the SQL Server Agent is not appearing as a cluster resource.

It's created the service on the node and it's running OK. But I'm missing a way of adding it to the cluster.

Running SQL Server 2008 Standard SP3 on Windows Server 2008 R2.

Any help much appreciated. Have gone through the steps at: SQL Server Agent not listed as cluster resource

    And no joy.

Assuming this is a Windows 2008 cluster, is SQL Agent listed under "Other Resources" in the center pane, when you select the SQL Server application under Services and Applications?

It's OK, I was being a spanner. Thanks anyway.

Don't forget to add the virtual name and instance name in the Agent properties when you're working through that article!
