there was a local connection LOCAL.db2PPA.111121044150
this session has been closed (putty ?) without resetting the connection

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.

    Dear Przytula ,

    Thanks For the Reply

How to identify who is Running the Application ID ,111121044150

    I did not understand

"this session has been closed (putty ?) without resetting the connection"

Also , again we are getting the Following pattern in the db2 diaglog

Check result has been limited to 16384 characters
    Found 303 records since 2011-11-21 10:10:15 in /db2/PPA/db2dump/db2diag.log

    Also I checked

    db2PPA 3> db2diag -rc 0xFFFFFFFF

Input ECF string '0xFFFFFFFF' parsed as 0xFFFFFFFF (-1).
    NOTE: ../sqz/sqlzwhatisrc.C:
    V7 input ZRC 0xFFFFFFFF (-1) may translate to V8 ZRC value of 0x83000FFF (-2097147905)

ZRC value to map: 0x83000FFF (-2097147905)
    V7 Equivalent ZRC value: 0xFFFFBFFF (-16385)

    ZRC class :
Unexpected Operating System error (Class Index: 3)
    Component:
    Unknown component (Component Index: 0)
    Undefined as of DB2 v9.1.0.4; s071028
    Operating system reason code (errno):
    0x00000FFF (4095) = Error 4095 occurred.
NOTE: Errno value 4095 is excessively large.
It is possible that this error code is not a ZRC value.

Attempting to lookup value 0xFFFFFFFF (-1) as a sqlcode
    Sqlcode -1
SQL0001N Binding or precompilation did not complete successfully.

this user is logon in the instance owner and connected as sapr3
he has a problem with implicit bind

    Dear Przytula,

The user which connected as sapsr3 is a schema owner For the database.

    The application is SAP,

So sapsr3 is the schema owner in SAP Application.

I think this SAPSR3 should be having all the binding specified by you

    i e db2ubind.lst db2cli.lst db2schema.bnd

also , can u tell me , how to check , whether the above are binded to user SAPSR3

    By which command ?

    Thanks in advance

    Regards
