    Unanswered: MS SQL 2 Installations

    Hi all....
I have two instances of MS SQL Server Express installed on my testing machine.
I had 2008 installed and because i wanted to use Fulltext after the installation, i had to install the latest version of MS SQL Server R2.
Now, i want to uninstall the older version.
Would there be any issues with doing this?
My reason for wanting to remove to older version is that i'm getting strange connection errors in my application when trying to do a Select Statement using FREETEXTTABLE.
I havethe code working fine on my live server, but for developing purposes, i need it working locally.

I have posted the connection error in my other post so don't want to duplicate it here unless it helps to find an answer.

    Thanks all

    Andy

There will be No issue if uninstall the older version and install SQL server 2008 R2.
Else you can try upgrading an existing SQLExpress 2008 to 2008 R2 version
