Unanswered: multiple wordpress databases on localhost

I'm building a wordpress site on my local database and I need to build a seperate site also.

I've seen a few different methods and so far I created a new database in myphpadmin, downloaded wordpress again to another folder and renamed it from wordpress to wpowd, went into it's php.config and pointed it towards the new database I created but when I put in localhost/wpowd it doesn't work.

I'm doing something wrong but I don't know what.

you may be better off asking this question on a wordpress forum....
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton

There is also data in the database you need to change. I ran into the same problem at one point and it kept redirecting me back to the original site. Have a look at the various tables and rows as one of these will contain information about your base folder on the website.
