Red face Unanswered: db2audit configure error

    hi ,

I need to configure db2audit in my test envi.
I first increased the aud_buf_siz to 40. then stop and start the instance .

    When trying to configure using
db2audit configure scope checking, objmaint, validate status failure
    errortype normal

    I get Operation failed error.

if i use scope as "all" or any 1 parameter "checking" then it is successful.

    I am using db2 9.7 fp4 linux 5.5

suggest me how to corret this. thanks !

    You should see
    AUD0002N Syntax error.
at the top of the error output

    Try
    Code:
db2audit configure scope checking status failure, objmaint status failure, validate status failure errortype normal

Hi even after the stating of db2audit, db2audit.log was not created on $INST/sqllib/security/

where to check or any way to change the path of log file.

Have you had an event that generates audit record.
In 9.7 audit records are saved under
    sqllib/security/auditdata
and has a more descriptive name
    db2audit.db.SAMPLE.log.0

    One more doubt,

After archiving and extracting i wanted to load the file to a table.

when i try to give the command

    [db2inst1@WESSDITM auditdata]$ db2 load from objmaint.del of DEL insert into db2inst1.OBJDEL01
SQL3304N The table does not exist.

On what basis should i create a table, And what are the columns it should have. Any demo tables available in the db2 system tables.

    kindly help me.
